Crime: Alba's crime is written in the inside of her left wrist in block letters: CONSPIRATOR. Her husband is the Minister of Defence and so much of her freedom depends on not questioning the degradation of her family in rank, status, and wealth by the empire; or questioning her husband and his politics. Even if Alba is seen as politically more moderate than her husband, she will often move in a way that preserves her safety and security first.

- Alba is going to take the loss of her privileges hard. If someone is patient with her she's more likely to listen to them as she finds her current situation humiliating; if she is met with scorn and teasing first, she will respond in kind. Alba doesn't like being vulnerable, but she also would like to be useful, though of course her skills are going to be limited and likely require regular practice and tutelage.

- Having been free for the first time in her life, without the influence of the empire or her terrible husband, Alba is going to feel more protective of her freedom. She was a decent student before her marriage; she would be studying intently what skills she could have in order to continue surviving.
